About us.

DongBei House cooks the food of China's northeast — big, generous, cold-weather dishes built on wheat, cabbage, pork and cumin — alongside the numbing chilli cooking of Sichuan. Everything is made to order in a wok kitchen on Rauhankatu: dumplings pleated by hand each morning, a weekday lunch buffet for the neighbourhood, and private rooms with karaoke for the nights that run long.

“One of the best Chinese restaurants in town. The portion was really big, we got several dishes to share and I recommend doing the same. The staff was also super nice! The place is very spacious with really good ventilation, really good for company dinner for example. There’s also a private room.”
